The traditional Viikin lure S is a weighted lure with a diving lip, which is perfectly suited for perch and zander jigging. The baitfish length for the S model is 5-6 cm, and the weight of the Viikin lure S is 6 g. The front plate gives the jig an excellent swimming action. Front plate diameter 19 mm.
The Viikin lure S is suitable for trolling, where the trolling speed is 3.5-4.5 km/h depending on which bait is in use. With a natural bait, the trolling speed can be slower while still achieving good swimming action.
When using a soft plastic bait, the swimming action is greatly affected by how flexible the soft bait is.
The Viikin lure works well for jigging. The hook attachment of the Viikin lure is secure, and the hook-up rate for fish is good with flexible hook leaders.
