What information do we process?

Depending on your transaction, we process your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, company information, ordered products, and status information for orders, deliveries, and payments. In customer service, we process messages sent by you and the information necessary to resolve them. For newsletter subscribers, we store the email address and marketing preferences.

Technical information, such as IP address, browser and device information, shopping cart contents, as well as cookie and consent data, may be stored from the use of the online store. This information is obtained from you, from the use of the online store, and from payment and delivery services involved in processing your order.

Why is the information needed?

  • Receiving, paying for, and delivering orders, as well as customer service, are based on the performance of a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract.
  • Information required for accounting and other legal obligations is processed based on law.
  • The data security of the online store and the investigation of misuse are based on a legitimate interest to protect the service and customers.
  • The newsletter and other consent-based marketing are based on your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time, for example, via the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by contacting us.

Providing the information required for order delivery is a prerequisite for processing the order. Subscribing to the newsletter is voluntary.

Service providers and recipients of data

The online store operates on the Shopify platform. Shopify processes customer and order data to provide the online store service. The payment service provider is Paytrail Oyj. We use Shipit to manage deliveries. The name, contact details, address and order information required for delivery are shared with Shipit and the carriers involved in fulfilling the order. Data may also be processed in accounting and customer service systems to the extent required for the task.

Shopify and the payment service provider may also process data in accordance with their own legal obligations and their own privacy policies. Further information: Shopify's Privacy Policy and Paytrail.

Processing of data outside the EU and EEA

In connection with Shopify's international services, personal data may also be processed outside the EU and EEA. The transfers use appropriate safeguards in accordance with data protection legislation, such as approved transfer mechanisms and contractual arrangements. Storage and security

Data is stored for as long as it is needed to manage the order and customer relationship, to handle potential claims, or to fulfill legal obligations. Information belonging to accounting is stored for the time required by law. Processing of marketing data ends after the withdrawal of consent or an objection to marketing, with the exception of information required to observe the objection.

Access to personal data is limited to the extent required by the tasks. Access rights and technical security measures are used in the online store service.

Cookies and third-party content

The online store uses cookies essential for its operation, for example, to maintain the shopping cart and session. The site also contains content from third-party services, such as YouTube videos. The use of these services is also subject to the service providers' own privacy policies. The use of non-essential cookies and consents are handled in accordance with applicable legislation.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions of the law, you have the right to access your data, request its rectification or erasure, restrict or object to processing, and have the data transferred from one system to another. You may object to direct marketing and withdraw your consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of previous processing.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman if you consider that the processing of your personal data violates data protection regulations.
